Hip-Hip-Hooray! It's Rylie's 2nd Birthday!

We started off the morning with Derek, Daddy, and Mommy singing you HAPPY BIRTHDAY! Grandma Gail called shortly after that, to sing to you as well. You LOVED it! After Daddy left for work, we went out on a trek heading to the grocery store, to get cupcakes for your class at school. You really seemed to enjoy picking out the different colors that you liked. Mommy had to go to work today, but did make it back in time to watch you eat your cupcakes with your class and your big brother, Derek! Derek was thrilled to hang out with you today and proudly proclaimed, repeatedly, to all 14 of your friends that today was YOUR birthday! You ate outside, on the playground. This was a VERY GOOD thing, as you and your friends were very messy.

After you and Derek were picked up from school, Mommy asked you where you would like to eat dinner for your birthday. No surprise, you quickly exclaimed that you wanted CHICK-UH-LAY (Chick-fil-a), and that Chick-fil-a would be open today. We enjoyed a delightful chicken dinner and you had a nice cold glass of sweet tea-your favorite!

Grandma Betty sang Happy Birthday to you in the car on the way home, too! After we got home and you both had a bath and brushed your teeth, Grandma Debbie called! You and Derek talked to her for a long time about birthdays and Disney. You made Mommy and Grandma laugh a lot! Now you are both sleeping in your room and are watching 101 Dalmatians on VHS. I hope you had a great birthday! We can't believe you are 2 years old.

Mommy, Daddy, Derek, and Dragon Slayer love you so very much! HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!
