Snowmageddon Two Thousand Eleven!

Well, we are on day two of being stuck at home. It is nearly impossible to get to our cars, but thankfully school was canceled for me and work has been closed for Shane yesterday, today, and (as of just now) tomorrow too! What great news!

Our dogs have been fearful of the snow in the back yard and have only gone out twice. They just don't like it out there, and I don't blame them! It's just too cold. The local news channels are saying that it will get down to -10 degrees outside tonight. Thank goodness for our little space heater (that we keep well away from anything flammable). Derek is enjoying his first blizzard very much, especially because he gets to spend so much quality time with his mommy and daddy!

There isn't too much to report right now, but there is one last thing we wanted to document! Derek has started to try to roll over! We caught it on the camcorder on my phone, but I have no clue how to upload it to this blog. You'll just have to come over and see it! He can roll almost all the way over as well as pull himself up from a reclined position, while holding our hands.

It has been a fun little break from our ordinary routine!
