2 Month Check Up!

Dear Derek,

You are growing like crazy! Sometimes we can't believe you have already gotten so big. You had your 2 month check up this week. It was a little late, because of the icy weather we had on the original day of your appointment. You can do so many cool new things!

This Month:
You can now hold your head up.
You still like to suck on your wrists.
You smile all the time.
You like to eat 6 oz., every 4-6 hours.
You still enjoy tummy time and like to look around a lot, while propped up on your elbows.
You still love to be held and to cuddle with anyone who will hold you.
You still have pretty blue eyes.
You still prefer to be breastfed, with only a little supplementing from Similac.
You still gulp occasionally, when you eat.
You are in size 1 diapers, but sometimes you fit in size 2.
You wear 0-3 month clothes.
You are very talkative and coo all the time!
You have discovered your hands and you like to look at them.
You've started to scoot around.
You like your bumbo and activity gym!
You know how to hit your toys on your car seat, so that they will make noise!
You recognize mommy and daddy and smile when you see us!
You still have red-ish/brown hair, just like mommy!
You haven't lost any of your hair yet!
You still have daddy's cute nose and long eyelashes!
You are afraid of the bath, but we hope you will like it soon.
You still fall asleep in the car.
You still like to listen to music - mommy and daddy like that a lot!

You got three shots and one oral vaccination at your 2 month check up. You didn't cry any more than you were before you got the shots.

At the Check-Up:
Weight: 12.42 lbs. (75th Percentile)
Length: 24 1/4 inches (90th Percentile)
Head Circumference: 41 1/2 cm (75th Percentile)
